Name: Kyle Williams
Hometown: Blackpool, England
Height: 5 Foot 5
Weight: 200lbs
Archetype: Technician/High Flyer
Alignment: Tweener
Attire:
Entrance: Hooded leather jacket with logo on, sunglasses (he thinks he's cool)
The logo came about after his first appearance at wrestleverse where he gave a speech to the fans about how he wasn't going to let his build define him.
'And you know what? I get it! I do. I am short, I can’t help that, born this way. But even if this is WHAT I am, you can be damn sure that this is not WHO I am. These are not the things that define me, I am more than my physical attributes.'
Wrestling: Dark green MMA shorts
Backstage: Shorts and T-shirt
About the Character: From a young age Kyle Williams absolutely adored wrestling, he bought all the merch, went to all the shows and got into loads of trouble replicating the moves with his friends at home. So when he hit his early teens, he decided to take up training to follow his dreams of becoming a professional. Everywhere he went though he was treated as a joke because of his height, people bought him onto their rosters on the condition that he played a comedy character or pretended he was a member of staff a bigger athlete could throw around to demonstrate their strength. He kept it up in the hope that one day he would be taken seriously but it never came, so he became bitter and resentful towards the more 'naturally gifted' athletes that were part of the federations he participated in. Eventually he broke free and took offers whenever and wherever he could, usually in community centers or schools performing to tiny amounts of people. Now that he finally has the opportunity to show everyone what he's capable of, he won't be giving it up so easily.
Thanks to his love/hate relationship with the wrestling world, Kyle generally tries to go against the grain of the other wrestlers, he tends not to be sociable with anyone else outside of work hours and will go out of his way to find different entrance music, wrestling styles and attire in order to make sure he stands out from the crowd. He's always felt like an outsider in the wrestling scene so he decided to embrace it.
Since joining Wrestleverse, Kyle has fully embraced the weird happenings and is mostly concerned with his own survival with each passing week, although his lofty ambitions will always take main priority.
In his spare time Kyle is a massive nerd but training and wrestling always comes first.
Entrance Music: Helix Nebula by Anamanaguchi
Pic Base: Kip Sabian
Entrance Details: The lights get dark as two green spotlights begin to travel over the crowd, a loading bar appears on screen as Helix Nebula by Anamanaguchi starts. Once the intro is over, the music kicks in and the loading bar is full, Kyle walks out to the top of the ramp with his jacket on and hood up. He slowly surveys the crowd and unstraps the Parallel Championship from around his waist, holding it in front of his face and looking at it. Holding it with one arm, he begins shaking it before thrusting it high up into the air and shouting 'We did it!' The crowd pop massively as a smile creeps across his face.
He looks over the crowd once again then makes his way down the ramp, his eyes squarely focused on the ring itself. He effortlessly slides under the bottom rope and picks himself up, making his way to the corner and once again raising his title high into the air. He hands it to the time keeper before stretching out his arms and legs, readying himself for the coming battle.
Strengths: Kyle has mastered the art of dodging and countering moves, he always tries to land on his feet if he gets thrown and take advantage of his small stature to slide under legs or wriggle out of submission moves. He seems to have a near endless amount of stamina and will often tire an opponent out or just frustrate them.
Weaknesses: When Kyle does get hit, he gets hit hard. He's not the kind of wrestler who can enter into an absolute war, get the hell beaten out of him and keep going. He has to make sure he doesn't take too much offense otherwise he's down for the count, hence why he's put so much effort into dodging and countering.
Moves: Due to his height restrictions and the kind of athletes that wrestling generally attracts, Kyle has had to utilize a variety different offensive moves in order to keep up. He often kicks opponents down to their knees to execute moves and will frequently climb the ropes or perform a springboard attack.
Kneeling DDT
Springboard Knee strike
Dropkicks
Jumping Clothesline
Hurricanrana
Dragonrana
Top rope Legdrop
Frogsplash
Crossface
Anklelock
Snap suplex
Middle rope senton
Meteora
etc
Signature/Signatures:
Pocket Rocket - Springboard spear
Drive-By - Shining Wizard
Finisher/Finishers:
Excruciator - A neck crank where Kyle will also use his own legs to trap his opponents arms behind their back to apply more pressure.
KyleDriver - (Catching DDT) Kyle throws his opponent into the ropes and lifts them into the air on the rebound, as they fall, he grabs their head under his arm and drives it into the mat.
(If his opponent is too big or heavy, Kyle will perform a diving DDT from the top rope or a springboard DDT. See KyleDriver Alt 1+2 from video)
