Amelia and Amber Segment
~Siesta Beach on camera~
A beautiful, sunny, hot day on Siesta Beach, Florida. Amelia ‘Wildheart’ Winston is relaxing; her morning workout is long done and it’s too early to start warming up for the battle royal to determine the inaugural Wrestleverse champion. What else is there to do then but lay out on a towel on the beach, clad in a bright yellow bikini, sunglasses on, can of MegaSpark Raspberry Rumble in her hand for occasional sips as she peoplewatches? Tonight will be violence and mayhem and chaos, either the thrill of victory or the agony of defeat but right now is just sun and sand and working on the tan.
Amber looks around the beach for a spot to lay her towel down, she’s wearing a pair of jean shorts and a t-shirt showing her toned midriff with a bright pink bikini on underneath. Her drink of choice is none other than an ice cold pepsi. She starts to walk past another young woman in a bright yellow bikini that was hard to miss when she stopped and looked down at her.
“Hey! Aren’t you Amelia Winston?”
Amelia looks up at the statuesque blonde from behind her sunglasses, recognizing her immediately and breaking into a wide smile.
“And you are definitely Amber Lee.”
Amelia stands, taking a sip from her drink as she does, finding herself nose to… well, definitely not nose on Amber.
“Fuck you’re tall. So, taking in some sun and sand before it’s time to get to work?”
The Canadian grins a little.
“How you feeling? Nervous? Excited? Bit of both? Got the ol’ nervocited happening?”
“I figured I’d hit the beach before the show, better than hanging out at the arena for hours on end waiting for the show to start,” Amber replied as she and Amelia shook hands.
“Feel free to join me,” Amelia said as she sat back down.
“Thank you as for how I’m feeling about this show tonight? A bit of both with some anxiety thrown in there for good measure,” Amber replied as she laid her towel down beside Amelia’s and then took off her t-shirt to reveal her bikini top underneath.
“How did you find Wrestleverse?” Amber asked as she rolled up her bag and used it as a pillow as she stretched out on the towel.
Amelia glances to Amber’s impressive physique, as do no doubt plenty of other people on the beach.
“Oh you know, just through the grapevine. One guy back home heard about it from someone, tried to get hired and didn’t. He told two friends, they told two friends, so on and so on. Apparently I was the only one about to get my foot in the door out of the lot of us.”
She shrugs, taking a long drink of her hypercaffeinated berry-flavoured beverage.
“And you? Just happen to powerbomb the right person at the right time and got noticed? I’ve been watching video on you, what I can find. You and everyone else in the match tonight, I mean. Failure to prepare is the same as preparing to fail and all that stuff. You’re pretty good at launching people around the ring, gotta say.”
“You could say that,” Amber replied as she sat up and took a sip of her pepsi and smiled at Amelia. “There isn’t a lot of wrestling videos of me around because I’ve mostly done kick boxing and fitness. I’m hoping to get sponsored by one of the major fitness companies or something along that lines. Can you imagine though being sponsored and how much money you could bring in?” Amber asked.
“I can well imagine Amber.”
The two women laid there for awhile to the point that Amelia thought Amber had fallen asleep.
“Still with me?”
“I’m here, just pretending to be asleep so that guy over there will stop staring at us.”
The guy didn’t stop staring, when he realized Amber was awake he got closer and both women got creepy vibes off of him. The guy stood at five foot eight maybe, Amber looked over the rim of her sunglasses and spoke.
“Did your mama not teach you it’s rude to stare at strangers?”
“No need to get bitchy, I just wanted to take a few pictures,” The guy replied.
“Hell no, my friend and I are here enjoying our time before we wrestle tonight,” Amber said as she stood up and towered over the guy who was now not so confident.
“Get to stepping before I throw you as far as I can throw you!” She said her voice rising and bringing the attention of some other people who came over to see what was going on.
Amber stared the guy down who held up his hands and scurried away.
“Now where were we?” Amber asked Amelia as she stretched back out on the towel.
Amelia just chuckled a little as she watched the confrontation, stretching back out on her towel, hands folded behind her head, feet crossed at her ankles.
“We were relaxing before we kick the crap outta each other later tonight, let’s get back to it.”
She lifts her can of energy drink, holding it over so that Amber could tap her beverage against it.
“Cheers to a good scrap among new friends?”
“Cheers to a great scrap among new friends!” Amber replied as she tapped her bottle of Pepsi against Amelia’s energy drink. “We should do this more often depending on where we are for shows,” Amber said.
“Sounds like a fine idea by me,” Amelia replies with a big smile as the two young women soak up some more rays.
